So, if you’re curious about this “Killing the Immortals” book you’ve been hearing about and would like to have a shot at winning a free copy, I’m gonna give lots of you that shot. I’ve talked about Goodreads before here, and I definitely recommend joining if you enjoy reading, for all the reasons I detail in the linked blog post. And, in case you didn’t know, I’ve got one more reason: Free books. More specifically, a shot at a free copy of “Killing the Immortals” with my giveaway. Uh-huh. That’s right. And it’s coming soon.
Starting July 23, you’ll be able to go to the above link and put your name into the pot to win one of five free copies of my book after it releases on July 31. You’ll have one week to enter, and it’s on me to make sure you get the book if you win. And there’s a pretty good chance I’ll remember to do it.
Why do the giveaway contest? Well, the main reason is to let more people know my book actually exists … or, well, will exist on July 31. Lots of people enjoy entering these contests, because lots of people like free stuff. Go figure, right? So, they’ll check out the new giveaways, and they’ll see my book. There’s no harm in entering, so they’ll give it a shot. In the meantime, lots of people will see my cover, read my book summary, and add it to their “To-Read” list. That’s exposure. All it will cost me is the price to buy and ship five books. Seems like a no brainer.
If you miss this particular giveaway, don’t worry. I’ll probably do it again. Maybe three or four times, depending on how this goes. It seems like a fairly inexpensive way to tell people I exist, and that’s half the battle. I hope some of you will enter. Maybe you’ll even win. Better odds than the Powerball, anyway.
